This place is an absolute GEM! You absolutely have to stop here when you are in Rome. We have eaten at plenty restaurants in the area since visiting and this way BY FAR our favorite. Service is slower than in American restaurants but honestly, I think it was perfect. Between bread, first course, second course, and dessert, I think we were there an hour and a half, and the timing of everything was perfect. I wasn’t too full to eat the next portion of the meal. I had the arrabiatta penne pasta and my husband had the four cheese gnocchi for our first course. Then we both had the beef filet and we shared the baked potatoes. For dessert, my husband had the tiramisu and I had the truffle that was chocolate gelato, hazelnuts, dusted in cocoa and topped with chocolate sauce - I can’t remember the name of it, but this is the best thing I have EVER tasted. This place is amazing and super cozy. You’re missing out if you don’t give it a try.

Amazing! This was our first time in Rome, and our hotel staff recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed! We had dinner here every night. It was so cosy, friendly, had such a relaxed atmosphere and the prices were very reasonable. Mattiao was our waiter each time and he was outstanding! if we return to Rome, we will definitely be going back!
